houndstooth

The houndstooth print is a favorite of mine, to see come to surface during the fall season. It's actually one that I just associate in my mind with fall, period.. Actually, you know what, houndstooth is fall, in every way, shape and form!

I picked these houndstooth booties up on a lucky whim, in last season’s clearance racks. Good thing I did, because houndstooth is pretty much a timeless print. I’m sure I will get my use out of these time and again. For goodness sake, I’ve been saving these in my closet for about eight months! Anxiously waiting to wear them, with a fresh new pair of black tights this season. Oh, and a new shift dress from h&m, with a pretty little pearl collar too :)

leopard is fierce!

Every time I wear a leopard printed pattern, something inside of me just feels fierce and oozes chic. It’s like the cherry on top, and you can just instantly feel it as soon as you put it on. I can also feel the contagiousness of others around me who are wearing leopard, feeling chic too! Does anybody else feel the same way about wearing leopard?

The Days of the Sundress

One of my favorite parts of summertime is to throw on a cool cotton sundress. I think when you are trying to stay comfortable in the heat, there is no other feeling quite like it {or the little breeze of relief, if you know what I mean}. Oh AND most of the time, the hair also goes up and off the neck too... This day was a good hair day!
