The Moss

Net-a-Porter’s new editorial magazine, The Edit (which I am a fan of and have mentioned here before). Just released an ENTIRE issue dedicated to the simple chic style that is and will forever be Kate Moss. Kate Moss was definitely the “it” supermodel back in my heyday of models growing up in nineteen ninety something….. Somewhere in between the original supermodels Cindy Crawford + Linda Evangelista, and before the Karlie Kloss and Coca Rocha era. So my little crush on her dates back to my teenage years, hence she dated Johnny Depp.

Classic Kate Moss

Seriously, what could be a better formula than a pair of chic black knee high boots, a black turtleneck sweater and Kate Moss in black + white photo? Stuart Weitzman had the right idea again for his fall 2013 campaign. Sometimes just a simple backdrop paired with the timeless essentials are best. Turtlenecks are one of my favorite f/w staples (especially in black), so yeah that’s pretty much what my fall uniform looks like all season. Well...minus running around in my underwear of course!
