I managed to have my friend Kathleen over at Desert Vintage snap one picture of me and my son on Halloween night, before we headed out to all of the festivities going on 4th avenue! I really intended to take much more of our silly night. But it didn't turn out that way. The night was full of chaos and candy! Then before I knew it, our sugar high was gone and we were pooped and tucked in bed.
Here is Carmen Miranda and the little zombie solider. That was completely his idea by the way. I really think he got the creative gene in him! My costume came out a little differently than I had originally anticipated, but I ran out of time and I think it turned out great. My husband dressed up as Dracula. He wasn't in this picture, but it was too funny! We kind of threw his costume together last minute because he said he didn't feel like dressing up this year (yeah right!). Of course, his black slacks were no where to be found, so we used his black Levi's and black converse! We then said; "You could be ghetto Dracula" lol! I think someone got a picture I will have to hunt down.
I hope everyone had a fun and spooky Halloween!

Love the Carmen Miranda costume. I use to paint Carmen Miranda faces and head gear on tee shirts. They were a big hit (all those years ago) I love it when I get to see an old movie with her in it.........Pauline
