uylana sergeenko

I believe it was two years ago, that Russian designer Ulyana Sergeenko caught my attention. She had a personal style that was inspired from a mix of decades past and was close to home for me as a vintage enthusiast. Her killer debut spring 2012 collection was a mix of her expressed personal style, and an updated look on a classic 1940s and 50s ladylike look with perfectly detailed elements to match!  I have been watching her ever since and this years show was no exception!

Yet again, she nailed it with a homage to a vintage aesthetic in a grand dramatic way! Taking inspiration from what a modern say Scarlett O'Hara might look like, and strutting her down a theatrical runway, I loved it!
