Channeling my inner seventies Gypsy!

Sometimes I get bored with myself and need to take a shopping trip in my closet to experiment with different looks and inspiration from other things, be it eras in fashion or my particular mood on that day....I like to be a chameleon! I also like when I find cool things that I forgot I had, even though I bought the pieces at one point, cause they were originally cool and drew attention to my eye...

So here is how I felt yesterday.....


Wardrobe:

leopard headscarf: thrifted
1970s black lace top: desert vintage
reproduction 1970s denim high waist trousers: old navy {a few years back}
black wedges: buffalo exchange

Jewelry:

black 1920s jet beads: my grandmother's
black & gold bangles: f21
gold hoop earrings: my mother's


I pulled out some more of my late 1960s-70s stuff, and may feel in fact, like I want to watch this channel all week, so look out for some more fashion post with this inspiration in mind....

Diane Von Furstenberg would be proud!

    You look amazing! You never cease to surprise me with how each era suits you. I think I need to start experimenting, again...it's getting to that point where I'm just plain ol' bored but feeling pretty stuck, too!

    I love the leopard head scarf! It really adds to the look! I had on wide legged jeans the other day and it was quite nice! Must find some vintage pairs, yours are sooo cute!

    Seriously, I think every era's fashion seems to suit you! I know exactly what you mean about shopping your own closet too, I could do with taking that course of action rather than busting my credit card yet again, hehe!
