Outfit Post

Yesterday, was a nice, bright sunny day in Tucson! There was a calm chill in the air, but it definitely did not feel like winter. The weather just bounces all over the place here! So I decided to wear a favorite thrift find of mine! Would you believe I only paid $2.50 for this dress at a yard sale this past summer. It is in perfect condition inside and out! I did have to take it in a little, but no biggie. It is a 1940's rayon floral and navy print, with shutter style pleats, and includes my favorite pop of yellow color!

My accessories included; my 1940's Ivory earrings and bracelet, nude fully fashioned seamed stockings, cream colored belt and cream1940's inspired peep toe pumps. I enjoyed a lovely Sunday service and a good breakfast brunch with my husband, son and parents!

I hope that everyone had a swell weekend and a fabulous ahead!

xoxo,
Syd Divine

  3. Hello..I am so glad that I stumbled onto your site.Reading I had to smile because I have always been attracted to the 20's and 30's..the fashion ..cars..culture.
In fact I reciently did over (or at least I am working at doing it) my home page on my web site. I am doing it in the twenties theme. I call it my Roaring Twenties Home Page.
You could get to the web site from my blog or if you would like to check it out this is the address:http://sites.google.com/site/carlsvilleproject/home
When you see it keep in mind that it is a work in progress :)

  8. Oooohhh, I envy your gentle, beautiful sunshine and balmy temps. We've had thicker-than-thick fog and very "blah" weather here for most of the week.

That dress is absolutely wonderful, you look so pretty!

    Big hugs,
    ♥ Jessica
